The Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE), Eastern Himalayas Programme, based in Darjeeling, invites project proposals focused on biodiversity conservation from civil society organizations such as NGOs, community based organizations, academic organizations and individual researchers.
Projects proposed should focus on exploration and conservation of the region’s flora and fauna in the Sikkim and Darjeeling Himalayas, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.
Grants will be provided typically for work in the areas mentioned below:
