Prof. Kamal Bawa at the second International Symposium on Mountain Science

Professor Kamal Bawa will be a  guest speaker at the second International Symposium on Mountain Science organized by the Mountain Science Center, University of Tsukuba to be held on 15th November, 2018 at the International Congress Center EPOCHAL TSUKUBA.  

At the symposium, themed - ' Mountains: Biodiversity and sustainability under climate change', Prof. Bawa will be talking about - ' Himalaya: Biodiversity, Climate Change, and Society'.  

The symposium will see professors from across the world presenting on topics ranging from the influences of climate change on mountain ecosystems to mountain science in the future and the contribution of interdisciplinary global research in furthering mountain science.
