Academy
The Academy for Conservation Science and Sustainability Studies prepares the next generation of environmental leaders. The Academy conducts an interdisciplinary PhD programme for students from backgrounds as diverse as economics, management, wildlife biology and sociology among others. Faculty at the Academy also hail from interdisciplinary backgrounds.

It also offers certificate courses that are designed for professionals, practitioners, policy-makers and advocacy groups that work in the field of environment, conservation and sustainable development.
Capacity Building
ATREE's researchers conduct a range of workshops and seminars to train a wide range of stakeholders, which includes local community members, scientists, environmental science and development practitioners and policy makers.
Environmental Education
ATREE’s environmental education programmes have allowed us to leverage ATREE’s research to build awareness among children. We believe that unless children connect with the environment in their neighbourhoods they cannot relate to broader environmental problems.
Internship
ATREE conducts research in the areas of Climate Change Mitigation & Development, Forests & Governance, Water, Land & Society, Landscape, Livelihoods & Conservation, Ecosystem Services & Human Wellbeing, and Biodiversity Management & Conservation Planning and offers internships for interested individuals.
