The Youth Training Programme (YTP)

Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE) and James Hutton Institute (JHI) are launching a one-day workshop on 'The Youth Training Programme (YTP)’ on Thursday, 27th June 2019 at Berambadi Government School, Gundlupet, Karnataka.

The Youth Training Programme is organized as part of the ongoing research project Decentralised Wastewater Treatment- Global Innovation for Sustainable Communities funded by Scottish Government in collaboration with with James Hutton Institute, ATREE, Indian Institute of Science and University of Glasgow.

The objective of the training programme is to build capacity towards the sustainable, community-led management of the Decentralised Wastewater Treatment System. As part of the event, youth from Berambadi village will be introduced to the system set up at the Government School in Berambadi.
