"A NEW SPECIES FROM THE GENUS GEORISSA BLANFORD, 1864 (GASTROPODA, NERITIMORPHA, HYDROCENIDAE) FROM A LIMESTONE CAVE OF MEGHALAYA, NORTHEAST INDIA"

New species of snail discovered in Meghalaya by a team of scientists at ATREE. The new species, Georissa mawsmaiensis sp. nov. was discovered in an expidition in a limestone cave by ATREE's Nipu Das and Aravind NA. It is compared with its closest congener, Georissa saritta, which was also collected and described from the same area near Cherrapunjee.
