I started my career in environment research at Center for Ecological Science, Indian Institute of Science in 2003 after a master degree in Botany. At present, I am working on an interdisciplinary approach to the conservation of natural resources, sustainable practices by involving the local community and their knowledge. Also interested in wild food plants use knowledge, socioeconomic, cultural values and policy tools in benefit sharing and conservation.
