My interests are in studying semi-arid savannas of peninsular India as supporting landscapes for wildlife and pastoralists. For my thesis, I plan to use ecological and social science techniques to understand how pastoralist groups and large bodied wildlife co-occur in savannas which are increasingly fragmenting due to larger socio-economic changes.
